Pretty Ugly, LLC. and Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced today that they have entered into a co-branded collaboration to create plush based on The Wizard of Oz™ and UGLYDOLL characters. Fan-favorite UGLYDOLL characters,Moxy™, Wage™, Jeero™, Babo™ and OX™ are all dressed upandready to follow along the Yellow Brick Road as iconic characters from The Wizard of Oz.
“Uglydoll is honored to collaborate with such an iconic brand during its 75th anniversary celebration. The Wizard of Oz has been a family favorite of ours for years,” said Drew Matilsky, Pretty Ugly’s Managing Partner.
“Coming off our successful launch of UGLYDOLL x DC Comics Super Heroes figures and plush, we’re excited to expand our partnership to mix classic and cool with the all-new UGLYDOLL The Wizard of Oz collection,” said Karen McTier, executive vice president, Domestic Licensing and Worldwide Marketing, Warner Bros. GUND®, a division of Enesco®, will offer a diverse range of colorful and collectible co-branded plush based on The Wizard of Oz and UGLYDOLL characters, including Moxy™ as Dorothy, Wage™ as Tin Man, Babo™ as Cowardly Lion, Jeero™ as Scarecrow, and OX™ as Wicked Witch of the West. The series of plush dolls will be previewed at the 2014 Las Vegas Licensing Expo and launching at retail early fall.
