May Updates

A bankruptcy last year halted distribution of the Uno game, board game, and Scrabble. Another company has picked them up and they are tentatively scheduled for a summer release along with 3 new puzzles. The Wizard of Oz edition of Scrabble comes with a exclusive dictionary. Now we finally find out how many points pusillanimous is worth!!

Another previously cancelled collectible is now available to order on collectiblestoday.com. To order and see other shoes in the collection please see these links:

Mattel's Wicked Witch of the East doll is a Toys R Us exclusive. Pre-orders are being accepted now.

The Hallmark Dreambook is now online and in stores. Be sure to attend the ornament premiere July 11 - 12 for a chance to purchase the limited edition ruby slippers.
I recently picked up my first Marvel Wonderful Wizard of Oz comic. This series is not to be missed!! Skottie Young's illustrations have set a new standard with his endearing interpretations. His art is so right for the source material. Issue number 6 just came out May 13th.
Series #5 of the Quilting Treasures fabric of the Wicked Witch's Castle is due next month.

I apologize for the lack of updates lately. I've hit a few bumps in the yellow brick road and I'm hoping things will start to smooth out soon. I'm still experiencing computer problems and I'm helping another website with a Wizard of Oz 70th anniversary tribute.

Fall announcements should be coming shortly and there's still come rumors I'm awaiting confirmation on. And of course, everyone is on pins and needles awaiting Blu-ray news. Stay tuned......if you're new to my blog please check out my older entries. There's some great Oz merchandise on the horizon.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow Collection

Lou, a member of the Everything Oz Club, was kind enough to announce this new series and share photos of the brochure. The figurines are made by The Hamilton Collection and I hope they intend to include the two witches. They are affordably priced at $19.99 plus $6.99 shipping. Personally, I think Dorothy is really gorgeous and I really like the style. I will update as I get new info. Please click on photos to enlarge.
