I am so sorry to be posting this so late! A member of the Everything Oz Club posted this find after visiting a pumpkin patch. Then to touch base with the company and real life getting in the way. This year the kits were sold only to gift stores and independent stores. There are some available on Amazon. Crossing fingers for a wide release next year. The company was pleased to hear how excited Oz and Halloween fans are right now. It would sure be nice to see these in more stores.

Funko Wizard of Oz Vynl
I absolutely adore these new additions by Funko! They remind me a bit of Rankin and Bass characters. I so want these to do well so Funko will do more characters and expand the Wizard of Oz license. The new Vynls are very worthy successors to the hugely popular Pop figures. My camera couldn't capture just how cute these are but I wanted to show how detailed these are. They are very nicely packaged with stands for the figures should you wish to display out of the box. They retail from about $17 to $20. Check you local comic shops, pop culture stores, FYE, or you can mail order from Wizard of Oz retailer Storyland Collectables.
Hallmark Wizard of Oz Fluffballs
What a darling surprise these little guys are!! I just can not express how thrilled I am to see Hallmark still working with Oz beyond the Keepsake Ornaments. These soft plushy balls are more detailed than you'd think for their medium and size. I tried to capture some of that for you, but my photos still don't do them justice. The Fluffballs are going to be super cute hanging on the Christmas Tree or from the mantel. They are just adorable. Showing up now at Walgreens and CVS. Hallmark said they might also be at some grocery stores but I would check Walmart as well. Or you can order direct from Hallmark on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Wizard-Fluffball-Ornament-Pack-Scarecrow/dp/B075GX78KR/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1507236490&sr=8-1&keywords=Hallmark+fluffballs
I hope we'll see these next year with the additions of the Glinda, The Wicked Witch of the West, Toto, and a Winged Monkey.

Hallmark Resin Dorothy and Fluffballs
I love the little surprises Hallmark has thrown at us this year so far.
This little Dorothy is so sweet!! She is resin and about 3.5" tall. She was found at a Christmas store by Seth Hannan. Right now she is at Walmart in the greeting card section for $7.99. She will be turning up at Target and I'd check wherever Hallmark ornaments are sold.
Last year Hallmark released a new line into mass market retail stores called Fluffballs. This year they are adding Wizard of Oz characters to the line. Currently available at WalMart and CVS. Again, I'd check wherever Hallmark ornaments are sold or you can order direct from Hallmark via Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075GX78KR/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A26NPHNDZ5M74K
Thank you Louis Berrillo for the Amazon link!!
In stores they are $5.99 each
Wizard of Oz Collectors Edition Magazine
From the publishers of Closer Weekly. Available darn near everywhere magazines are sold. I haven't had time to read this cover to cover but I did take a good perusal last night. There are a couple of things that made me cringe, but overall a very, VERY nice magazine and I'd recommend it. This magazine covers so many facets of Oz. There are sections on the major cast members, movies, television, animated Oz, comics, memorabilia, L. Frank Baum, Wicked the musical. It's really beautifully put together. It's a great introduction for those new to Oz. $9.99.
My major problems with it are: The "fun" fact on Judy Garland. Really?? How is that fun?? Or appropriate for an Oz magazine? It may not even be fact at all. They could have picked a million other little facts for that. Toto in George Washington Slept Here......I saw the movie, I'm not buying it. Why would they lighten his color every day? It had nothing to do with the movie. If someone wants to correct me and convince me, please do, I'm open, but there's plenty of other Toto movies they could have highlighted. There's a picture of stage actress Anna Laughlin that I really do not believe is her. Again, I'm open to convincing. And the last thing that kind of bothered me was the inclusion of Lost Girls in the comic section. I haven't read it but I've seen a bit of it and that gets downright pornographic. I just feel a Wizard of Oz magazine is likely to attract children and that comic could have been left out. Also I wish these magazines would include regular collectibles instead of the auction items all the time. There's plenty of current Oz collectibles that the average person can attain.
Minor quibbles aside, it's a wonderful effort and I hope to see more like it. Closer Weekly features Oz and Judy so frequently, I hope they do a Judy Garland issue.
Peter Alexander Wizard of Oz 2017
Peter Alexander recently released his third collection of Wizard of Oz designer sleepware. Peter Alexander is an Australian company. They do ship to the U.S. but be prepared to pay a lot for shipping. In my opinion, the Oz lines have been so beautiful the shipping would be worth it.
